Non-opening rooflight

Dimension

From 60 x 60cm to 200 x 300cm

Certificate

Declarations of Performance in accordance with EN 1873:2005 (national equivalent: PN-EN1873:2009)

Characteristics

  • Rooflights provide comfortable and even natural light to rooms

  • A popular use for rooflights is to provide spot lighting for workstations located directly below the skylight

  • The use of rooflights helps to minimize electricity costs

Technical description

Rooflight base:

  • Made of galvanized steel sheet. Standard: straight or slanted base with a height of 150, 350, 500 and 750mm. The base should be insulated with a layer of mineral wool or PIR panels.

  • Made of PVC (straight base with a height of 200mm or slanted base with a height of 150 or 300mm). The base does not require insulation.

Clamping frame for steel bases:

The bases have special cut-outs in the corners, which, after installation and machining of the base, allow free press-on installation of the so-called PVC "clamping" frame.

Rooflight Cover:

Cover is made of cellular polycarbonate, solid polycarbonate or acrylic. Choose from two color options: transparent or milky. The surface can take the shape of a convex, dome-shaped (from acrylic or solid polycarbonate) and flat (from cellular polycarbonate). Rooflights made of cellular polycarbonate can come in fire retardant classification.

Technical parameters

  • We make rooflights in the range (60-200)x(60x300) cm

  • DL 750 - has a downward directed load resistance of up to 750N/m2

  • UL 1500 - has an upward load resistance of up to 1500N/m2

  • SB 300 -1200 - shows resistance to impact with a large soft body

  • 1.1-2.5W/m2K - the heat transfer coefficient for the entire product. The coefficient depends on the choice of cover and base

  • With a 21mm thick polycarbonate cover (2x10mm + fire retardant fabric) and a 27mm thick polycarbonate cover (10+16mm + fire retardant fabric), the product qualifies as non fire spreading (fire retardant).

Additional option

  • Possibility to equip the rooflight with an anti-fall grating or insect netting

  • Possibility of attaching anti-drop brackets to the rooflight

  • Possibility to use E30/EI30 baffle
